Duckling rescue - Soham - East Cambs

On Monday (15) at around 3pm, the south roaming fire engine, which is made up of a crew of firefighters from across the county, was called to an animal rescue in Soham.

Firefighters came to the rescue of a little duckling that had fallen down a drain on Brewhouse Lane, and became separated from its family.

They used specialist tools to remove the drain lid and lift the duckling out to safety, before reuniting it with its family.

The rescue took a few minutes before they returned to their base.
