Building fire – Arbury - Cambridge

At 10.44pm on Saturday (4) crews from Cambridge and Cambourne were called to a fire on Cockerell Road in Arbury, Cambridge.  

Firefighters arrived to find a fire in the stairwell of a building containing flats. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using a hose reel and cleared the smoke using a positive pressure ventilation fan.  

The crews returned to their stations by 12.15am.
