Fire in the open - Huntingdon - Huntingdonshire

On Thursday (9) at 5.26pm, one crew from Huntingdon was called to a fire in the open at Hinchingbrooke Country Park in Huntingdon.

The crew arrived to find a fire in woodland. Staff from the site kindly assisted crews with getting the equipment to the location of the fire.

Using a light portable pump, firefighters used a jet to extinguish the fire and prevent further spread.

The crew returned to their station by 6.50pm.
