Building fire - Romsey ward - Cambridge

On Thursday (21) at 4.01pm crews were called to a building fire on The Broadway, Romsey Ward.

Firefighters from Cambridge, Cottenham and Sawston responded.

Crews arrived to find smoke issuing from a takeaway shop.

Firefighters used two hose reels and two jets to get the fire under control and prevent it from spreading.

The incident began scaling back shortly after 5pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
