Fire in the open – Bottisham - East Cambs

At 6.09pm on Friday (5) crews from Cambridge were called to a fire on Newmarket Road in Bottisham. 

Firefighters arrived to find a fire involving around four tonnes of wood spreading to nearby trees and a field. They extinguished the fire using hose reels and returned to their station by 8.15pm. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
