Fire in the open - Abbotsley - South Cambs

On Sunday (14) at 5.33pm, a crew from Gamlingay was called to a fire in the open on Pitsdean Road, Abbotsley.

Firefighters arrived to find an area of grass and hedgerow well alight. Firefighters extinguished the fire before returning to their stations by 6.10pm.

The cause of the fire is believed to be deliberate.
