Lorry fire - A14 - South Cambs

On Thursday (1) at 11.49am, crews from Cambridge and Newmarket were called to a lorry fire on the A14 near Newmarket.

Crews arrived to find a fire in the back of a lorry. Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.  

The cause of the fire was accidental.

Crews returned to their stations by 2pm.
