Fire in the open – Prickwillow - East Cambs

At 1.36pm on Thursday (20) a crew from Ely was called to a fire on Lark Bank in Prickwillow.  

Firefighters arrived to find a well-developed fire in the open involving peat and extinguished it using a hose reel. They returned to their station by 5pm. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
