Flat fire - Trumpington - Cambridge

On Wednesday (26) at 10.19pm a crew from Cambridge and a crew from Sawston were called to a flat fire on Spring Drive, Trumpington.

Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish a fire involving a dishwasher. A smoke curtain was also used to prevent smoke spreading through the building.

The cause of the fire was accidental.

Crews returned to their stations by 11.35pm.
