Boat fire - March - Fenland

On Saturday (29) at 7.19am, crews from March and Chatteris were called to a boat fire on Creek Fen, March.

Crews arrived to find a narrow boat on fire. Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.

All persons were accounted for.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
