House fire – March - Fenland

At 2.53pm on Monday (31) crews from March and Chatteris were called to a fire on Burrowmoor Road in March.  

Firefighters arrived to find a well-developed fire in a bedroom of a bungalow. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using hose reels and returned to their stations by 5pm. 

The property was safely evacuated when the crews arrived. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
