Building fire – March - Fenland

At 3.37pm on Thursday (3) crews from March and Wisbech were called to a fire on Martin Avenue in March. 

Firefighters arrived to find a fire in a small room of a building. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using a hose reel and a jet, and cleared the smoke using a positive pressure ventilation fan.  

The crews returned to their stations by 5pm. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
