Car fire – A428 - South Cambs

At 5.02pm on Saturday (3) a crew from Cottenham and the south roaming fire engine were called to a fire on the A428 near Hardwick. 

Firefighters arrived to find a car well alight. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using hose reels and returned to their stations by 7pm. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
