Lorry fire – Fletton parkway - Peterborough

At 6.08am on Wednesday (7) crews from Stanground, Dogsthorpe and Yaxley were called to a fire on the Fletton parkway in Peterborough. 

Firefighters arrived to find a lorry on fire on the westbound carriageway. They extinguished the fire using a hose reel and returned to their stations by 7.40am. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
