Bungalow fire - Stapleford - South Cambs

On Sunday (18) at 8.14am, crews from Cambridge and the south roaming fire engine were called to a bungalow fire on Babraham Road, Stapleford.

Crews arrived to find a bungalow well alight.

Firefighters rescued a casualty from the property, who was treated for smoke inhalation.

Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used hose reels and a jet to extinguish the fire.

The cause of the fire was believed to be accidental.

Crews returned to their stations by 10.45am.
