House fire - Market ward - Cambridge

On Tuesday (20) at 1.42pm, crews from Cambridge were called to a house fire on Willow Walk, Market ward.

Crews arrived to find a fire in the downstairs bathroom.

Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used a hose reel and jet to extinguish the fire, before using a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear the smoke.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
