House fire – Walton - Peterborough

At 5.35pm on Sunday (4) the north roaming fire engine and a crew from the Peterborough Volunteer Fire Brigade were called to a fire on Council Street in Walton, Peterborough. 

Firefighters arrived to find a fire in the kitchen of a house. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using a hose reel and returned to their stations by 7pm. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
