Fire in the open - Chatteris - Fenland

At 5.53pm on Wednesday 6 September a crew from Chatteris were called to a fire in the open on Honeysome Road in Chatteris.

Firefighters arrived to find a bale and approximately half an acre of stubble on fire. Using a hose reel jet and beaters they extinguished the fire before returning to their station by 7.45pm.
