Car fire – A14 - South Cambs

At 11.59am on Sunday (17) crews from Cambridge and Huntingdon were called to a fire on the A14.

Firefighters arrived to find a car on fire on the westbound carriageway near Swavesey. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using a hose reel and returned to their stations by 1.50pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
