House fire - East Chesterton - Cambridge

At 6.21am on Wednesday (6) crews from Cambridge were called to a house fire on Discovery Way in Cambridge.

Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire and cleared the smoke using a positive pressure ventilation fan.

A casualty was given first aid and left in the care of ambulance crews.

The crews returned to their station by 8am.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
