Road traffic collision – A14 - Huntingdonshire

At 4.17pm on Sunday (17) crews were called to a road traffic collision on the A14 between Ellington and Spaldwick. 

More than 20 firefighters, including crews from Huntingdon, Kimbolton, Sawtry, St Ives, Gamlingay and Cottenham attended the incident.  

The crews arrived to find a collision involving multiple vehicles on the westbound carriageway. Using specialist equipment they released two casualties who were left in the care of ambulance crews.  

The crews returned to their stations by 7.55pm.
