Fire in the open - Sawston - South Cambs

At 3.43pm on Thursday (18) crews from Cambridge were called to a fire in the open on Park Road in Sawston.

Firefighters arrived to find approximately 25 metres of hedge well alight. Crews used hose reels to extinguish the fire and returned to their station by 5.30pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
