Fire in the open - Chatteris - Fenland

At 10pm on Wednesday (24) a crew from Chatteris was called to a fire in the open on Campole Drove in Chatteris.

Firefighters arrived to find a large unattended bonfire out of control. The crew used a hose reel to extinguish the fire and returned to their station by 10.55pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
