Car fire - A47 - Fenland

At 9.38pm on Tuesday (9) crews from Thorney and Dogsthorpe were called to a car fire on the A47 near Thorney.

Firefighters arrived to find a car well alight. Wearing breathing apparatus firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire before returning to their stations by 10.35pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
