Fire in the open - Ellington - Huntingdonshire

At 8.24am on Tuesday (16) crews from Huntingdon and St Neots were called to a fire in the open on Thrapston Road in Ellington.

Firefighters arrived to find a wood chipper well alight. Wearing breathing apparatus firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire before returning to their stations by 10:05am.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
