Building fire - Market Ward - Cambridge

At 9.19am on Tuesday (7) two crews from Cambridge were called to a building fire on Emmanuel Street in Cambridge.

The crews arrived to find a battery fire in the basement of a building. Wearing breathing apparatus firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire before returning to their station by 11am.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
