Car fire - A1101 - East Cambs

At 1.41am on Thursday (30) a crew from Ely was called to a car fire on A1101 near Littleport.

The crew arrived to find a car well alight. Wearing breathing apparatus firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire and returned to their station by 2.50am.

The cause of the fire is believed to be deliberate. Anyone with information should contact police by visiting www.cambs.police.uk to submit an online report or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
