Fire in the open - Dogsthorpe - Peterborough

At 8.13am on Tuesday (4) a crew from Dogsthorpe was called to a fire in the open on Acer Road in Dogsthorpe, Peterborough.

Firefighters arrived to find debris on fire spreading to four flats. Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used hose reels to extinguish the fire and cleared the smoke using a positive pressure ventilation fan.

The crew returned to their station by 10.45am.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
