Fire in the open - Swaffham Prior - East Cambs

At 4.49pm on Wednesday (31) crews from Cambridge and Mildenhall (Suffolk) were called to a fire in the open on Heath Road in Swaffham Prior.

Firefighters arrived to find a bonfire which had spread to straw. The crews used hose reels to extinguish the fire and returned to their stations by 9pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
