House Fire – West Town - Peterborough

At 9.52pm on Friday (9) crews from Dogsthorpe and Stanground were called to a house fire on Peterhouse Close in Peterborough.

Firefighters arrived to find the kitchen well alight. They used breathing apparatus and hose reels to extinguish the fire and then used a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear the smoke.

Crews returned to their stations by 10.41pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
