Field fire - A1307 - Huntingdonshire

At 3.49pm on Monday (13) crews were called to a field fire on A1307 near Godmanchester. Over 20 firefighters attended including crews from Huntingdon, Cambridge and St Neots along with the south roaming fire engine and Newmarket’s water carrier (Suffolk).

Firefighters arrived to find a field fire involving approximately 120 acres. The crews used hose reels and beaters along with the misting unit to extinguish the fire and returned to their stations by 8.15pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
