Vehicle fire - Eastfield - Peterborough

At 11.44am on Wednesday (14) crews from Dogsthorpe and Stanground were called to a vehicle fire on vicarage Farm Road in Eastfield, Peterborough.

The crews arrived to find a bin lorry well alight. Wearing breathing apparatus firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire before returning to their stations by 1.20pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
