Fire in the open - Hampton Water - Peterborough

At 3.44pm on Friday (16) the north roaming fire engine was called to a fire in the open on Greenfield Way in Hampton Water.

Firefighters arrived to find grassland well alight. The crew used a hose reel to extinguish the fire and returned to their station by 4.20pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
