House fire - Stanground - Peterborough

At 3am on Wednesday (21) crews from Stanground and Dogsthorpe were called to a house fire on Thistle Drive in Stanground.

Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire and cleared the smoke using a positive pressure ventilation fan.

The crews returned to their stations by 4.40am.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
