House fire - Peterborough - Peterborough

At 8.08pm on Friday (30) crews from Dogsthorpe and Stanground were called to a house fire on Saxon Road in Peterborough.

Firefighters arrived to find a washing machine on fire in the kitchen of the property. They used hose reels to extinguish the fire and returned to their stations by just after 9pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
