Caravan fire - St Neots - Huntingdonshire

At 6.55am on Friday (25) crews from Gamlingay and Huntingdon were called to a caravan fire on Tebbutts Road in St Neots.

Firefighters arrived to find a well-developed fire involving a caravan, which was also affecting nearby flats. Some residents were evacuated as a precaution.

The crews worked hard to tackle the fire and prevent it from spreading any further. Wearing breathing apparatus they fully extinguished the fire using hose reels and returned to their stations by 9.20am.

A male casualty was taken to hospital by ambulance crews.
