House fire - Huntingdon - Huntingdonshire

At 3.22pm on Monday (18) crews from Huntingdon were called to a fire on Walnut Tree Drive in Huntingdon.

Firefighters arrived to find a fire in the kitchen of a house. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using a hose reel and cleared the smoke using a positive pressure ventilation fan.

The house was safely evacuated when the crews arrived.

The crews returned to their station by 4.15pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
