House fire - Wimblington - Fenland

At 3.57pm on Friday (20) crews from March and Chatteris were called to a house fire on Ash Tree Close in Wimblington.

Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire and cleared the smoke using a positive pressure ventilation fan.

The crews returned to their stations by 5.20pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
