Vehicle fire – M11 - South Cambs

At 3.57pm on Friday (23) a crew from Cambridge along with the south roaming fire engine and a crew from Saffron Walden (Essex) were called to a vehicle fire on M11 near Duxford.

Firefighters arrived to find a fire involving a van that had spread to nearby grassland. Wearing breathing apparatus firefighters used hose reels to extinguish the fire.

Crews were at the scene until around 6pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
