Fire in the open - Orton Longueville - Peterborough

At 6.11pm on Sunday (22) crews from Dogsthorpe and Stanground were called to a fire in the open on Morpeth Close in Peterborough.

Firefighters arrived to find a fire involving bins that had spread affecting a car, fence, shed and two houses.

Wearing breathing apparatus firefighters used hose reels to extinguish the fire and were at the scene until around 7.30pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
