Flat fire - Dogsthorpe - Peterborough

At 3.30pm on Sunday (22) crews from Dogsthorpe and Stanground were called to a flat fire on Meadow Grove in Peterborough.

Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used hose reels and small gear to extinguish the fire and cleared the smoke using a positive pressure ventilation fan.

Crews were at the scene until around 5pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
