Building fire - Sawston - South Cambs

At 11.33am on Tuesday (1) crews from Cambridge were called to reports of a fire at Icknield Primary School in Sawston.

Firefighters arrived to find smoke coming from the roof of the building.

The building had been evacuated prior to the arrival of the fire service.

Firefighters used a hose reel and covering jet to extinguish the fire.

The cause of the fire was believed to be accidental.
