Fire in the open - Whittlesey - Fenland

At 5.01am on Tuesday (15) a crew from Whittlesey along with the water carrier were called to a fire in the open on Stonald Road in Whittlesey.

Firefighters used hose reels to extinguish a fire involving peat and were at the scene until around 7.30am.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
