Fire in the open - Nene Valley Railway - Peterborough

At 9.40am on Monday (28) crews from Stanground and Dogsthorpe were called to a fire in the open at Nene Valley Railway.

Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish a fire involving a derelict railway carriage.

Crews were at the scene until around 11.40am.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
