Car fire - Trumpington - Cambridge

On Thursday (31) at 11.25pm, crews from Burwell and Cottenham were called to reports of a car fire on Shelford Road, Cambridge.

Firefighters arrived to find a fire involving multiple cars at a garage.

Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used hose reels to extinguish the fire.

The cause of the fire was believed to be accidental.

Crews returned to their stations by 2.30am.

The area will be reinspected for hotspots.
