Vehicle fire – A142 - Fenland

At 3.41am on Wednesday (6) crews from Chatteris and Sutton were called to a fire on the A142 near Chatteris.

Firefighters arrived to find a fire involving the trailer of a lorry. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using a hose reel and returned to their stations by 4.45am.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
