Car fire – A1 - Peterborough

At 2.33pm on Sunday (10) crews from Stanground and the Peterborough Volunteer Fire Brigade were called to a fire on the A1 near Wansford. 

Firefighters arrived to find a car on fire on the southbound carriageway. They extinguished the fire using a hose reel and returned to their stations by 3.40pm. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
