Stack fire - March - Fenland

At 1.24pm on Tuesday (12) crews from March and Chatteris were called to a fire on Horsemoor Road in March.

Firefighters arrived to find a stack well alight. They used jets to extinguish the fire and returned to their stations around 5pm. They continued to reinspect for any hotspots over the course of the evening and into Wednesday (13) morning.

The cause of the fire was deliberate.
