Gas main fire - Wilburton - East Cambs

On Thursday (14) at 9.17am, two crews from Ely and two appliances from Newmarket were called to reports of a fire at Pools Road, Wilburton.

Firefighters arrived to find bushes and grass well alight, and also involved a gas pipe.

Firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire, before returning to their stations by 10.45am.
