Fire in the open - Wisbech - Fenland

On Wednesday (20) at 8.39pm, a crew from Wisbech and March, along with crews from Outwell and West Walton (Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service) were called to a fire in the open on Stow Road, Wisbech.

Crews arrived to find a large fire involving shrubbery and a disused caravan. Firefighters used hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.

The cause of the fire was believed to be deliberate. Anyone with information should contact police by visiting www.cambs.police.uk to submit an online report or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111. 

Crews returned to their station by 11.45pm.
